We are incredibly proud to celebrate Debra Pease, who has been officially recognised as a Queen’s Nurse – a title awarded to those who demonstrate exceptional commitment to patient care and nursing practice.
Debra, Managing Director of Komplex Care, brings over 35 years of nursing experience to our organisation. Her career spans multiple areas, including intensive care, paediatric and community healthcare, culminating in her recent role as Deputy Director of Nursing within an Integrated Care Board.
Since joining Komplex Care in November 2024, Debra has been involved in driving excellence within our healthcare services. Her dedication was formally recognised at a special ceremony in London, where she received the Queen’s Nurse title. The thorough application process required her to demonstrate her expertise, supported by testimonials from both patients and colleagues.
Debra attended a ceremony in London to celebrate her achievement of becoming a Queen’s Nurse, a title awarded to those who have shown exceptional dedication to patient care and nursing practice. The event featured presentations by Dame Elizabeth Anionwu, Vice President of the Queen’s Nursing Institute and Patron of the Mary Seacole Trust.
Reflecting on this achievement, Debra shared:
“I am so very proud and honoured to have received the title of Queen’s Nurse in recognition of my commitment to improving standards of care in the community and to learning and leadership.
To say I am thrilled is an understatement, and I can only thank the people who have supported me along the way. It has been an especially exciting end to 2024 for me — not only attending the QNI ceremony in London but also stepping into my new role overseeing Komplex Care.”
At Komplex Care, we are privileged to have Debra’s expertise and leadership guiding our teams. Her recognition as a Queen’s Nurse reflects the values we uphold — delivering outstanding, compassionate care to those who need it most.
