Great British Care Awards win for Mandy

On Friday night, representatives from Komplex donned their best dresses and tuxes to attend the Great British Care Awards.

Not only was it an opportunity to celebrate those working within care, it was an extra special night because our Registered Manager Mandy Williams-Vance was up for an award.

Having won the regional Frontline Leader title, Mandy was up against tough competition for the national award. But it was never in doubt in our minds that she really is the best of the best.

And the judges agreed! Mandy was announced as the winner of the national Frontline Leader Award.

She says: “It was a real shock to win the award, but I am absolutely delighted. I’m really thankful to my colleagues who nominated me, and to the judges for their wonderful comments.

“The awards ceremony was a fantastic celebration of all of the people who work in healthcare, helping to improve people’s lives, and it was great to be there with the Komplex team.”

Rachel Davy, Komplex Care’s Operations Director said: “We are so proud of Mandy. She’s a fantastic asset to the team and an amazing Registered Manager.

“We are so glad that the judges recognised just how wonderful she is, and the commitment and passion she has. Not only for providing the highest quality care for our clients, but also for supporting our teams too.

“Well done Mandy, from everyone at Komplex!”
