We recruit care professionals around the individual package, considering clinical experience, values, personality and compatibility. Safer recruitment checks are completed, including references, right-to-work checks and an enhanced DBS check.
We support adults and children with a range of complex and long-term health needs. This can include ventilation and tracheostomy care, respiratory support, enteral and PEG feeding, seizure management, brain and spinal injuries, and neurological conditions. Every package is subject to an individual clinical assessment.
Training is developed around the individual care plan and specific clinical requirements. Team members complete the necessary specialist training and competency assessments before delivering care, supported by ongoing supervision, refresher training and nurse-led clinical oversight.
Our aim is to build a small, consistent team who understand the individual’s needs, routines and preferences. If temporary or agency cover is ever required, any care professional must have the appropriate checks, training and clinical competencies before providing support.
Care packages may be funded through NHS Continuing Healthcare, Children’s Continuing Care, a Personal Health Budget, Local Authority or joint funding. We can also support privately funded care and packages funded through insurance or compensation arrangements.
We regularly review each package and maintain clear communication with the individual, their family and involved professionals. If needs change, we can update the care plan, risk assessments, staff training and level of support to ensure care remains safe and appropriate.
