Why us?

Locked-in syndrome can be an extremely frightening experience and it’s vital to have the right support in place quickly. A number of conditions can cause locked-in syndrome, such as a traumatic brain injury, complications following a Stroke and medication overdose. Our rapid assessment process will quickly establish the patient’s needs and get a care package in place to enable them to improve their quality of life at home.

How can we help?

The range of expertise across the highly-trained nursing staff at Komplex Care will enable a complete package of care to be delivered – in collaboration with fellow medical professionals, such as speech and language therapists and physiotherapists.

Our nurses are experienced in ventilator management if required, along with other clinical tasks such as PEG (feeding tube), bladder and bowel management and tracheostomy care.
