Our clinical team supports adults and children with a broad range of complex, high-acuity, neurological, neuromuscular, respiratory, acquired, congenital and life-limiting conditions. Every part of Komplex Care is overseen by Nurses providing clinical assessment, care planning, direct nursing care and ongoing oversight for packages involving specialist procedures, complex treatments and life-sustaining therapies. Shaping each package around the individual’s diagnosis, clinical risks, medication and daily needs.

Clinical Expertise Behind Every Package
Safe complex care depends on experienced clinical oversight and a team prepared for the individual’s needs. Our nurses remain involved from assessment and training through to delivery, review and ongoing clinical support.
Yes. Where clinical assessment identifies that registered nursing input is required, our nurses can provide elements of care directly as part of the agreed package.
Our experience includes spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease, muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, epilepsy and other neurological or life-limiting conditions. Every referral is assessed individually.
Subject to clinical assessment, we can develop packages involving invasive or non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy management, suction, cough assist, oxygen therapy and other respiratory interventions.
Support can include bowel and bladder care, respiratory support, skin integrity, mobility, medication and the recognition and management of autonomic dysreflexia.
Training is tailored to the individual’s condition, equipment and care plan. Care professionals complete practical training and competency assessments before undertaking delegated clinical procedures.
Our nurses communicate with the wider MDT to support coordinated care planning, clear responsibilities, safe hospital discharge, clinical reviews and appropriate escalation when needs change.
